I think I am a pretty good baker, but I cannot surpass the lovingly made white
almond layer cake you turn out. I probably cannot even equal it. We got two
slices at the Farmers Market, and we cannot wait to get more. The cake was light
with a delicate crumb, and the frosting was just right, not too much and too
sweet as it is on so many cakes. You really have a gift. It is clear that your
standards are uncompromising.
