For wedding cakes, there is a three month notice required.  For all other cakes, a 48 to 72 hour notice is required depending on the type and design of cake requested. Depending on my workload, short notices are sometimes welcomed.

Yes, I deliver for a flat fee of $10.00.   

Tastings are provided free of charge for all wedding consultations; however they are by appointment only. Please note that a tasting does NOT hold your date.  All bookings are first come, first serve, and the date is only held by your $50 nonrefundable deposit.  This deposit is required to reserve your wedding date on my calendar.

All non wedding cakes must be paid for in advance.  You can mail payment to my home address. I can also send you a bill via email and you can pay via paypal using your debit or credit card. Wedding cakes require a 50% deposit 90 days before or earlier than the wedding date with the remaining balance due 30 days before the wedding.  If the balance is not paid, then your order will be void and you will not receive a cake.

I accept cash, money orders, certified bank checks, and payment through paypal using debit or credit cards.  I no longer accept personal checks.

If you need to cancel your order, please contact me immediately.  If you are cancelling a wedding cake, I will refund 50% of your deposit up til two months. After 2 months prior to your wedding, I cannot refund your deposit . 

Yes, you can.  We can work together to come up with a design of your own.

Yes, at Cakes Unlimited by Benisha, we offer dairy free products at the request of the customer at no additional charge.

A party size serving of cake is measured 1 and 1/2 x 2 inches.  If you want bigger slices, then please order a larger cake.  Please refer to the Wilton Method cutting chart http://www.wilton.com/cakes/cake-cutting-guides/party-cake-cutting-guide.cfm that explains the cake cutting process.

Yes.  My kitchen has been inspected and approved by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture to bake and sell products out of my home.

Yes, all orders are subject to the 7.75% sales tax rate set by the NC Department of Revenue.

I will ship cookies anywhere in the United States via priority mail. The customer will be responsible for shipping charges.

My home is pet and smoke free.
